Personal Care Aide Program

Press Conference at SBC

The Minister of Education, Rob Norris, Tammy Bloor-Cavers, Executive Director of Student Financial Assistance, as well as the Minister’s Chief of Staff and Chris Jones-Bonk from Communications were at SBC the morning of Friday, June 18th for a Press Conference regarding enhancements to student financial assistance.



SBC student, Kelsey Zoerb (left) , spoke on behalf of the college discussing her student financial assistance experience. Kelsey is currently enrolled in the Legal Administrative Assistant program.

Congratulations to Megan Beznoska

Business Administration student, Megan, successfully completed the Saskatchewan Marathon this past weekend. Megan finished 1st in the 19 +under category with a time of 4 hours 53 seconds. Congratulations Megan!

Staff & Student BBQ

Staff and students enjoyed the annual celebratory SBC BBQ this past Wednesday, June 9th. Just as it has been for over 25 years, the event was held at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm. Thanks to everyone who came out. A fun time was had by all.

The STEPPING BEYOND COLLEGE seminar will be held on June 3 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.  Instead of regular classes, students will be attending presentations and get a chance to network with various organizations throughout the city. 

 

The seminar will include the following sessions:

• Climbing the Ladder
• Dress for Success

• Financial Planning
• Work/Life Balance
• Microsoft 2010
