Students raise over $7,000 for Shinerama

September, 2011 marked the 26th Anniversary of SBC in Shinerama: Students fighting Cystic Fibrosis. Students dressed up to shoe-shine and fundraise their way to raising over $7,000 for Cystic Fibrosis.

Press Conference at SBC

The Minister of Education, Rob Norris, Tammy Bloor-Cavers, Executive Director of Student Financial Assistance, as well as the Minister’s Chief of Staff and Chris Jones-Bonk from Communications were at SBC the morning of Friday, June 18th for a Press Conference regarding enhancements to student financial assistance.



SBC student, Kelsey Zoerb (left), spoke on behalf of the college discussing her student financial assistance experience. Kelsey is currently enrolled in the Legal Administrative Assistant program.

Staff & Student BBQ

Staff and students enjoyed the annual celebratory SBC BBQ on June 9th. Just as it has been for over 25 years, the event was held at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm. Thanks to everyone who came out. A fun time was had by all.
